Featured Project: Illustrate a Book
For this project I had to illustrate a children’s book in 30 hrs. I was given the written story and character outlines and had to move from there. Here are the sketches of the characters and the background/page layout.
Here we have the sketch and final design of all the characters. All the sketches were done in photoshop and the final characters were made in illustrator. Below are the final pages and a added cover page.
The hardest part of this project was definitely creating consistent back grounds that I liked. I was able to overcome this by reusing some parts of my illustrations to help me get into the grove when starting a new page.
