Rudy - character turnaround
This is Rudy; the main character in a kids TV show that's primarily geared for children on the spectrum. In the show -Rudy's Photography- Rudy travels around the world to photograph major landmarks and events.
I started with making concept art: sketching Rudy's form and eventually adding his scarf. Then I recreated Rudy in photoshop, added color, and then went about creating the different sketches.
I used body language and his overall shape (round) to convey that he's just a sweet little guy!
During this project I learned that you can toggle pressure sensitivity, which was very helpful for coloring and lineart.
