Process
The project goal was to create a cold rat who loves taking pictures. The target audience was tweens/kids. In this project, I wanted to design the character so his personality was visible right away. That meant designing a strong silhouette and creating a clear, expressive face. Additionally, the character’s clothes are both fluffy and colorized to match the northern lights to emphasize some of his traits through some more subtle, but noticeable details.
