Pantry+ Logo Design
I was asked to help design a logo for one of the entrepreneurship group’s business idea, Pantry+. Their instructions were to come up with an idea using the colors orange, purple, and green. After sketching and ideating on ideas I decided on an orange. The group was in between Pantry+ and Pantry Plus but eventually decided to go with the Pantry+ iteration. It was made in Illustrator and I used Pintrest for inspiration.
Ignite Posters
Interactive Media students and Entrepreneurship students are having a combined presentation night this year unlike last year where they each had their own nights. Since I was an Entrepreneurship student the previous year I was ask to create the posters for the event. I used Pintrest and last years poster for information and inspiration, and Illustrator to make the poster itself. To begin I knew I wanted a fire aspect so I used the blob paintbrush tool in Illustrator to create the purple fire and added a graphic style layer to give it the neon border. Then I moved on to adding the text and I wanted to keep the typography simple but also direction attention to the date, time, and place of the event. After gaining feedback and tweaking a few things it was finished!
Character Turnaround
This is my character turnaround Alex Marshal. I was told to create a cheesy alligator who loves the rain, is scared of fire but wants to live in a van. I used Photoshop to create the sketches, final product, and the turnaround, and I used Pintrest for inspiration. As you can see if you click through the gallery wall in the character sketches I included some details about Alex’s personality and some ideas of how I wanted her to turn out. I also included the turnaround sketches which was a new experience for me! Overall I feel like I portrayed Alex the way I wanted to and used reds to compliment the normal green of an alligator.
Media Madness
Every March at Francis Tuttle Interactive Media has a chance to enter Media Madness which is then posted on social media in brackets for people to vote on winners. This March (2023) I won the championship with a funky cat named Walter. This project was specifically created for Media Madness. I wanted to make something cute and funny, and I feel that I accomplished that goal with his funny matching outfit, underwear, and confused face.
