I am so excited to present my BPA 60th Anniversary branding project! This project gave me the perfect opportunity to dive into creative design while celebrating a huge milestone for BPA. I wanted the design to feel fun, professional, and memorable, something that students, advisors, and judges would instantly connect with. Being the project lead was amazing because I got to make all the creative decisions and see my ideas come to life. I wanted this project to feel energetic and celebratory while still being clear and professional. It was so satisfying to see the concept grow from just an idea in my head to a full visual design that can be used across multiple products.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

I started my process by researching BPA branding guidelines and looking at a ton of design alternatives for anniversary celebrations. I focused on color palettes that felt lively and festive but still stayed true to BPA\u2019s professional identity. I explored combinations of bold blues, energetic yellows, and neutral tones to make the design pop without overwhelming the viewer. I also looked at fonts, shapes, and layouts from other milestone designs to see what made them feel modern and readable. I wanted to give myself options and experiment with multiple directions before committing to the final style.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

After gathering references, I moved into sketching. I focused on keeping everything simple, using clean shapes and clear anniversary layouts. I explored multiple logo concepts, trying to balance boldness and clarity. I sketched straight-forward layouts for \u201c60th Anniversary\u201d while thinking about how it would look on different products, like stress balls and windbreakers. I really enjoyed this stage because it let me play with ideas quickly and freely before committing anything to the computer. It was exciting to see rough sketches evolve into more polished concepts.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

To save time and maintain consistency, I gathered my assets from Canva. I used icons, shapes, and background elements that complemented the BPA brand while fitting the celebratory theme. Everything I selected was versatile so I could use it across multiple applications. I wanted to make sure the assets were high quality and easily adaptable for the production stage. Canva made it simple to mix and match elements and gave me a lot of flexibility to experiment with color, size, and layout.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

This was my favorite part! I combined all my sketches and Canva assets into the final logo design. I tested it on a stress ball and a windbreaker to make sure it would work in real-world applications. It was so fun to see the design \u201cin action\u201d and imagine students and advisors actually using these products. I made everything changeable and customizable so that future iterations can easily adapt to different sizes or materials. Seeing my work come together in a tangible way was extremely rewarding and made all the earlier sketching and planning feel worth it.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Finally, I exported the completed design in high quality, ready for print and digital use. The logo is clean, bold, and celebratory, while still professional. I am proud of how it turned out and excited that it can be used in a variety of formats to highlight BPA\u2019s 60th Anniversary. This project was such an exciting journey from start to finish. I learned so much about balancing creativity with brand consistency, experimenting with colors and layouts, and thinking about how a design works in real-world applications. I am proud of the final product and the way it can celebrate BPA\u2019s 60th Anniversary while still feeling modern and professional. Being the project lead allowed me to explore every stage of the process, from research and sketches to production and final export, and I feel much more confident in my design skills because of it. Most importantly, this project reminded me how fun and rewarding it is to bring ideas to life and see them have an impact.
