Graphic Design Projects
For my project, I did not do the character turn around. I decided to help a client on some silly little goblin cards for his dungeons and dragons campaign. So the project I chose was the “you design” and had to complete it in 30 hours.Also the software I used was Photoshop. Each goblin is different and each has its own look. So far for my assignment I made these: Rousing Speech, Steal Weapons, and Hide Hide Hide. There will be more after a while.
If you’ve ever looked at the exploding kitten cards then you’ll understand that when I mean by silly, I’m going to go for that kind of style. Usually I struggle a lot with keeping one style but i’ve done them and been surprisingly accurate on all of them each with its own personality.
For this here, I am showing you examples of my process. How I started this was I had sketched my moodboard and my full drawing on paper, then continued to trace the sketch digitally.
This image shows some of the other sketches of different goblins I will most likely use in future cards. I also show here the coloring process, with the color variations.
