This was my skills showcase project, My prompt was to make a cold rat that loves taking pictures and hates fireflies. He also hopes to see the Northern Lights someday. I made my character Ziggy and she wears a zig zag scarf to keep warmth aswell as boots. I added tiny photos since she likes taking photos.
My process for this was sketching out ideas once I looked at photos of rats and I started stylizing one. I added accessories and worked on the silhouette to make an interesting character. My goals were to use the prompt and make a silly character that would be simple enough for animation and such.
