I made this animation for my advanced 2d animation course. I was given 43.75 hours to 8 to 11-second animated video where An existing character knocks on a door and is startled by whoever answers it. The character who answers the door is a new character that I needed to design that fits the style of the rest of the film. While working on this project I utilized my creativity, patience, and problem-solving skills. I applied the animation and illustration skills I had been building up to deliver the final product.

Some of the challenges I faced were trying to make the line art neat, and trying to finish the animation in a short enough amount of time. In order to make my line art more neat and clean, I experimented with different brushes, and changed the brush settings until I found a style that worked best for me. In order to finish the project faster I worked on simplifying my designs and focusing on the bigger picture rather than smaller details.
