Graphic Design Promotion.

I was tasked with creating a recognizable brand identity for a fictional esports team to build fan excitement and establish its place in competitive gaming. My job was to develop a cohesive logo, branding document, team jersey, and promotional poster that work together to represent the team and announce its launch.

Research

My research found that esports fans are mostly male young adults, with a growing number of female viewers. Teens enjoy competitive games, gaming content, and social media platforms like YouTube and TikTok. They are drawn to authentic content, relatable players, and teams that create a sense of community and belonging. This research will help me create a brand that connects with teen gamers through bold visuals and a recognizable team identity.

These are sketches of different logo concepts, each with several revisions to explore different styles and find the best direction for the team’s brand identity.

Here are some different fonts I looked at, along with a few examples of how they could look together.

Brand Identity

These are the final fonts I chose for the team’s brand identity. I used Might for the main headings and Merta Sans in different weights for supporting text to keep the typography consistent across all the designs.

These are the final colors I chose for the team’s brand identity. I used yellow as the primary color, with blue as a secondary, and navy as supporting.

Final Designs

This is the final branding guide for SixSix Esports. It shows the team’s fonts, color palette, and different logo variations to keep the brand consistent across all designs.

This is the final SixSix Esports jersey design, showing the front and back of the jersey. I used the team’s colors, logo, and player number to create a design that matches the overall brand identity.

This is my final poster for SixSix Esports. It introduces the team, shows the players, and announces that they will be competing in national tournaments during the 2027 season.

These are the final logos for SixSix Esports. I created primary, secondary, and alternate logos, each with different color variations so they can be used on different backgrounds and across the team’s branding.
